I suppose technically speaking, thinking outside the box, any reference to up, down, clockwise or anticlockwise is all relative to where you and it are. Something in New Zealand ‘falling down’ is falling up in relation to me here in the UK isn't it?

AIUI "down" is defined as the direction in which things fall.

So you are defining our world in terms of this planet instead of our 'impossible to understand' magnificent universe which we, full of our self importance, declare to be upright?

Are Kiwi’s upside-down or us, or neither? Maybe I'm horizontal, or some other ‘obtuse’ angle
Sounds like our point of reference is a point at the epicentre of an insignificant planet we call Earth in an equally insignificant universe which, for all our self-importance, is but one dimension in a place we have always lied about understanding, invoking GOD for sex revenge and superiority, yet in the big scheme of things we are still no more than a dog trying to understand English.
How many humans do you know speak to a dog in English and why?
“Sit” “Roll over” “BEG”
You could equally quack, clap, fart, burp or just ‘a look’ to train a subservient dumb animal to do what you want. It happens between humans too - and has for a very long time, has it not?
Humans' or a human have been "getting away with it" for a very long time and will do so long after me or anyone else here in the living.
Funny how the Globe is pointing the way it is and why Australia is 'Down Under'. I think their globe should be what we call upside down and the Antarctic is at the top. Give me one good reason why not? If America took over Australia because of some disaster or to suit their needs I'm sure the globe would be what we call upside down don’t you think?
