I would go further Malcolm; she's an idiot or a fool!
I am truly
very sorry for what happened to her husband and how their families lives would have been turned upside down as a result. I remember this case well and it angered me to the point I felt like it was time to become a vigilante.

My heart
really does go out to her for her loss and what she has gone through; something she will have to live with for the rest of her life.
But she should not try and champion support for a
completely different issue she knows nothing about off the back of her loss and grief in what I am sure is a very sincere effort ‘to do something’.
I’m sorry if that’s curt or offensive but what she has proposed is so
very unrelated to a the serious matter of road safety! When I heard what she said on the news this morning I nearly spat my tea out and threw the cup at the TV.
I don’t mean to be glib but if I lost my daughter to some thugs the very last thing I would want to do is rally support in neighbourhoods to do something about driving habits.
Target the thugs who deserve to be strung up by their balls and left to rot FFS! Lobby Government to do something about the real problem we have in our dysfunctional society today with yobs. Getting a community together to do something about speed is going to do a big fat nothing for this case or any future reoccurrence of yobs ruling our streets IN THE REAL WORLD!
