The offender was banned from driving for three years. Good, but good enough IMHO. My opinions concerning drink drivers are unprintable on this forum.

Thank goodness the hard shoulder was not being used as an extra lane !!

That sever mistake and seemingly with no attempt within 4 miles to 'correct it' is just appalling! Most troubling.
If trafpol were about more readily then I dare say she might have been stopped sooner! She is going at a fair rate of knots too!

To be so young and make such a serious error should make her sit up and get her life sorted out! I wonder too if it would not have been more appropriate that the Judge also have insisted on AA meetings and a psychological report to help her to face her problems head on.
Personally I think she should have had a jail sentence and not just suspended!

That makes me consider too if addressing many people's problems in life wouldn't help people become 'better citizens' in many ways from driving to health! :)
After all less stress will help many folk in many ways.

Isn't it amazing how in this instance CJG hasn't made a comment regarding motorists, the Highway Code and sandwiches.
