Hi all,

M4 protest is going nicely, but I'm nowhere near satisfied. No Sir.

We can't get too much publicity - there's no such thing. But we can get far too little and we're in some danger of that.

Would EVERYONE who possibly can make at least two media contacts:

* Informing them about the M4 Protest and giving the web address.
* Asking what coverage they are going to offer in good time so that folk can choose to attend or even divert or reschedule to avoid the congestion.
* Say why YOU personally are involved. (Human interest is a big deal with journalists).

Ammunition on:
http://www.m4protest.org/press.html

There's a list of press and media contacts in this thread:
http://www.safespeed.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1341

If you can get on a Radio phone in, then so much the better.

Even if you don't feel you can tell the media PLEASE still consider telling friends, workmates, relatives, whatever.

Everyone, PLEASE, spread the word.

The media should think: "everone's talking about the M4 Protest."

Good thinking, batman. I'll tackle BBC Essex (which may spread to Eastern Counties depending on what time I manage to nail them).

Which, of course, is no accident.

But my real reason for posting is to draw attention to the first post in the thread. We still need more publicity, and you, dear reader, can help.

Has anyone called Gaunty on BBC London? He has a 9-12 phone-in show every morning which covers London and the SE and he has a regular audience of 400,000.

I've not been able to tune in the last couple of days due to meetings etc., so I don't know if anyone has called in or if the protest has been discussed.

Anyone been listening???

If this show has not been tackled, I'll try and call him tomorrow (Wednesday).
