Quite right. But we need to expend our energies attacking the real problems, not trying to force the scamerati into taking English lessons! :hehe:

Agreed. However, I actually truly wondered if they were trying to add a different complexion (spin if you like) and spent several minutes exploring alternatives of an increasingly bizarre nature before deciding that you had the only possible interpretation. I still contend that any public-facing body (even the scamerati who it seems are unaccountable) should have one whose basic capability in written and spoken English is at least average - or is their sentence a good average these days?

The real high-flyers work in the "Catchy Slogan Department" dreaming up such literary gems as "Today, Overtaker - Tomorrow, Undertaker". You can't expect talent like that to be wasted on the mundane nitty-gritty of press-releases.

Or like swindon scams strapline:

"Drive safe. Drive within the speed limit"

Well, I may have only done a GCSE in English, but I am sure that should be "Drive Safely....."
:o
