The Bent er..I mean Kent and Medway SCP are hosting an online survey to "gauge" public opinion.Image

The usual set of unbiased, neutral questions (courtesy of the DfT) are there along with a few others. Interestingly one of the new ones asks if you are a parent of, or are responsible for, children under 16. Presumably they are hoping to see a correlation between parental responsibility and support for "safety" cameras i.e. only irresponsible, young, single alpha males would object to excessive speed enforcement.

Please do your bit and complete the questionnaire, but bear in mind it is only open to residents of Kent ;)

Best regards,

Max

The K&M SCP seems to be losing its PR campaign. Public opinion seems to be on their side less and less...

Some of their questions are unanswerable.........unless you are a stout pro-camera individual. For instance Q11:

For what reason, or reasons, did you decide to visit our website today ? Tick AS MANY AS APPLY.

To find out more about the Partnership in general

To see where the cameras are

To find out the criteria or guidelines to justify a camera

To find out the Partnership's contact details

Because I or someone I know received a ticket after being caught by a camera

Please enter any other reason(s) you visited the website today:

Err NO! none of the above. I did try and fill in the little text box for 'any other reasons' but you HAVE to tick on of the above as well, which i'm not doing cause none bloody apply to me :x

The reason I filled their little form in is to try and contribute some common sense to their "debate".....DEBATE? Hah that'll be the day:roll:.

Nope I'm definetly not answering their biased question-Goodnight all.

Regards

Andrew

Just because you don't live in Kent and Medway don't mean you can't fill the survey in..........

I suspect you will need a Dorset post code for them to take any notice. Easily done though just pull one form the internet.

e.g. BH10, as they say ;)

They might not take notice of non-Dorset post codes, but what if you were on holiday here and "discovered" them, then decided you really must fill in their questionaire when you got home.... It is exciting, afterall.
