fROM 2007 - but as of now it's too much of a problem to pursue foreign fines abroad.

The appeals process hasn't been sorted out -

But why should appeals bother them( doesent seem to bother th uk ones at present) - they say your guilty , so you are.

Yes, more layers of pointless administration and costs, but that is exactly what the Eurocrats are there for.

It is going to require interconnection of all the various DVLA records systems, and with ours wrong by 30% and the others in an unknown state anything could happen (except it working properly). Can you imaging trying to disprove a Cloned vehicle offence in Spain or Italy?

As i said - why should the appeals process bother them - as usual it'l end up with the UK doing it properly and germany and france it they can be bothered.

And can you seriously imagine the Italians implementing such a load of bilge?

From 2007.......I won't hold my breath........

I think they will have bigger issues to worry about by then, like the collapse of the constitution.

I was under the impression that DVLA weren't supposed to release registration details to anyone other than the police and court system - and certainly not to an opportunistic bunch of sleazeballs like this lot.

Course of action via the Data Protection Act maybe?
