Per Manchester Paper

32 year old man is in stable condition after being knowcked down by a police car whilst crossing road in Moss Side, Manchester. GMP say a WPC has been suspended from dirving duties pending inquiries.

Another 15 year old was knocked down by police car atttending an emergency (blue lights/sirens) in Sale are of Manchester last week.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Surely - if car is approaching, especially one with falshing blue lights and sirens, the last thing you do is attempt to cross a road? :banghead:

But you cannot hear the siren because of your I-Pod turned up too loud...

It seriously wouldn't surprise me if the 15 year old wasn't an accident - my uncle was driving into Manchester (I forget what area) and a young teenager threw herself onto the car. Next thing he knew the car was surrounded by a gang of kids wielding bricks demanding 'compensation' for the accident. He only got away by giving them a fist full of notes....
