I think the chances of a coherent reply from Steve/Kev/JJ are about as likely as my chance of winning the lottery. Unless Kev is already attending a seminar entitled "Defending the Indefensible" in preparation.

Hi,

Please service the following request made under the Freedom of Information Act
2000.

I have challenged Steve Callaghan to a debate on BBC Radio Cumbria. Radio
Cumbria inform me that the challenge has been refused.

I want to know why the challenge has been refused. Accordingly:

1) Please provide copies of any and all letters, memos, internal documents or
emails concerning public debate with anti camera campaigners.

2) Please explain your decision. i.e. Why was the debate refused?

The address for correspondence is:
Trace House,
Clay of Allan
Fearn near Tain
Ross-shire
Scotland
IV20 1RR

Please acknowledge this Freedom of Information request.

I would prefer to receive your reply in electronic form by email.

I did get a non-committal and rather rude reply with little information content. At present I've lost it. I'm pretty sure it was in a pile of papers waiting to be scanned, but I can't find the pile right now. To be frank it's almost not worth the trouble of finding. But standby anyway.
