Think it's correct forum , but mods can decide.

Lit Bollards , the keep left variety ( plastic housing in white with arrow , lit inside with lamp ) --think most in here know wat am on abat.

Noticed localy that due to possibly persons returning home on Saturday nights with alcoholic intent , these are being vandalised, and are being replaced with signs designed to "take more punishment"

Problem is that these are very visibile on one side , with other side totaly black, mounted on the plynth in middle of road ( chunks of kerb ing stone) . Now seeing these mounted in pairs - one in each of these plynths. Now - as installed - ok - highly visible both ways - untill said alcoholic group remove one - then plynth is left and next sign is totally invisible ---waiting for a car to find plnth with sump ( shouldent happen of course - but Murphys law states ..............)

If you aint seen this "Accident economy measure - " keep your eyes peeled - especialy at night - thats when the reverse side becomes invisible.Driving legally and safely - you get a shock to find kerbstones in the road at short notice.
I first spotted this during the day , and noted for future reference - was shocked to see at night how invisible the reverse side of these signs are.
