This one sais it is for PBX use but I suspect you can plug any phone in to it. If not they do have an earlier (and cheaper

) model which was designed as an interface between a home phone and a GSM network.

Oh yes, there would be a lot of issues with it. However you could take your desk mike and speakers appart and selotape them to a toilet roll tube to make a "handset".
