Welcome B Cyclist, you're lucky, that's one of wildy's short posts
Only joking wildy, I do enjoy reading your posts!!
I'm never sure whether
what is written is more funny, or the
way it is written!
One natural comedienne. She comes out with these one liners at times and you get a

"Was?" Tommy Cooper type looks when everyone falls about around her.
A Wild Child!

Someone on PH described her:
C-hatty
O-nline
A-trractive
S-wiss
T-emptress!

Well - that's a new slant then? we'll market it with Wildy in her lacy stockings

Advert with this Swiss voice telling everyone about COASTy!
Drive safely to COAST or I'll "Liebchen you to death! "
She called my guv Liebchen at a party once - smacked a couple of kisses on each cheek and then taught him how to tango!

Thanks BC for the acknowledgement - I do my best no matter how long it takes!
I too am a little concerned that some potential support is lost due to a missunderstanding about the site.
I posted a link from another forum I post in, and THIS was one of the responses - and is typicla of the sort of response you get when you talk about the subject.

Dad of 2 sorry to say but it sounds like a load of folk just wanting an excuse to speed. It shouldnt mater whther its an accident black spot or not the cameras are ther to stop you speeding... perhaps preventing it from becoming a 'blackspot'. i think your analysing of what the camera people say is biased to your point view.

the government is encouraging a policy of merely charging motorists to break the law
i think they are charging them 'for' breaking the law not 'to' break it. Even more would be breaking it if it weren't for the fact there are speed cameras there.
it really sound like your a pissed off because theres a camera between your house and your work... have you been caught for speeding by it?... just out of interest.
No, I have not been caught speeding at Ings although I am sure some wish I was! But I have not seen anyone speeding dangerously there to justify putting the cameras there either - but if 7 people can get the speed limit introduced, then we need supporters "on the ground" to ensure that they get stopped next time.
Ings is an odd one. NSL where accident happened each side and 40 mph enforced by camera. Gather a talivan used to hide in bushes around there before the cameras appeared. Accidents incidentally reportedly due to cause other than speed! Would say from general observation on the occasions I have taken a gander drive around there - they are soon at the camera - yards into 40 mph and some manage to decrease to 40 mph by the lolly but a significant number are in my opinion and practised eye blipping over by smallish margin and could be pinged.
By the way BCyclist
I look forward to your contributions in "Cycling". I thought I'd get the safety stuff up there first to open up the overall discussions and we'd take it from there for all cycling related stuff - tips, advice, rides, "moron cut me up today - tea , cake and sympathy please" , latest cycling gadgets, news from the magazines and races and so on to get chatty friendly feel - but with a firm safety led slant running through.
