Physio Clare!

25 year old Physiotherapist from the Royal Oldham has just signed up for UK’s first professional team –"Fat Birds UK"

Yeah - almost as good as "Wildkatzen Tigers" They rally and ride bike races under that name abroad.. .

Clare Gross has been training hard – and manages to fit in two hours of training every evening as well as weekend competitions. Fortunately the hospital are supportive of her training needs and so far this young lady has won the 2004 National Criterion Championship  (tight winding races in city centres) and was third   in the National Winter Championship – losing out to the professional full timers. Clare’s cycling with the Fat Birds will take her into Europe where she will meet some of the younger Appenzell based Swiss "Tiger Cubs" in this family in competition. Naturally – shall be rooting for a colleague by proxy and Wildy will be cheering on her own.

Clare’s progress can be followed on and I for one wish her success in her first big racing season.

Let’s hear it for Clare….

If you want to get to heaven - you have to raise a little hell!

But the real message? SMILE.. GO ON ! DO IT! and the world will smile with you!
Enjoy life! You only have the one bite at it.
