I cannot find my original thread on this story..
Quick recap ...
Last October I posted up a sad story about how a middle aged woman teacher died on the A6 - Blackrod, Bolton - speed limit 60 mph. No other vehicle involved - her Megane clipped the kerb, hit lamp post and then rolled over and collided with a tree somewhere near the traffic lights at Blackrod (for locals .. pub called Ridgeway Arms at these lights per the Bolton press)...
Eye witness told the inquest that the driver (over 30 years experience) appeared to continue "straight" as she approached a slight curve... forensics state no sign of braking.. no foot bruising.. ankle fractures on corpse not any sign of brakes applied per forensics on car.
The 51year old was Brought In Dead to Bolton's Royal ... her injuries .(head) .. she had zero chance of survival..
At first a heart attack at the wheel was suspected .. but autopsy revealed no heart failure..
They now believe the lady fainted...
My view? ...she may have just been tired and fell asleep.. I cannot stress how much a human body needs rest and relaxation to rebuild... regenerate.. PLEASE! THINK! BED! RELAX! SLEEP! Best natural medical advice for FREE!

(erm .. am consultant wally.. sleep and rest ... helps to heal you..

)
Lady was familiar with the road as well..
I do suspect that a stressful job . learning mentor ... may have caused fatigue in this case .. autopsy revealed no illness, drink, drugs .. but we can never know for sure in this case ...
May even have been a menopausal flush given her age.. (not a derisory comment.. but a medical fact of life..

It happens.. and I hope women browsers/lurkers/members/users do not take the comment in any other meaning... as it is certainly not intended in any other form than an objective, factual, medical observation ..)
I simply mean .. listen to your body... if you feel under the weather ... your body is asking you to ease up a bit .. take 5 .. chill .. have a brief "toes-up - 40 winks - whatever!"
However, because of this accident.. the lentilists want ....
the speed limit ( currently NSL) to be reduced and a speed cam..
So far.. the Manchester prats and the council are exercising common sense ...
