Ask for photographic evidence that it was your car as you do not recollect being at that location at that time and it could be a case of mistaken identity. Also ask for the location of the camera van.
You should get at least one photo, normally they send two, which may enable you to work out where it was if they won’t tell you.
If you then accept you were the driver then the photo or video evidence is personal information about your movements and under the Data Protection Act you can ask for a copy of the video evidence if it was an LTI 20.20 with a Speedscope, or for the photo graphic evidence. You would need to do that as soon as possible. If you get that you may then be able to check the validity of the speeding allegation and decide whether to accept the fixed fine or go to court.

I had a ruling from the Information Commissioner's Office that you should be provided with a copy of the evidence if you ask for it, so you can then determine whether to go to court if you believe you were not speeding, so let us know what happens.
