Und Triple Liebchen.. ist not the driver this time..
This ist another very sad story und the Mama ist warning of the dangers after her 20 year old son dies on Princess Park Way in Manchester - he was flung 40 ft in air und died from head injuries 5 days later.
Three witnesses describe how they saw the young man jogging across road - dodging traffic before he was knocked down. He was chatting on his Handy to the girlfriend he was jogging to see.
The driver who hit him said "he appeared from nowhere. He was on his phone - he must have been oblivious to all traffic."
Oddly the driver und his passenger apparently could not remember which of them was behind the wheel at the time the 20 year collided with their car und they were done for "police obstruction"
The car owner excused her behaviour by saying that she was not sure if the driver (Simon) was named as insured to drive on her policy so she said she was driving.
The coroner recorded "accidental death" - car was NOT speeding either.
The 20 year old's distraught mother (who had lost her older son in a stabbing incident some 9 years previously) warned how Handy phones distract people from dangers on the streets.
grieving Mama wrote:
Mobile phones can distract you. They take away your concentration. My Mark was a nice lad.. placid and social. It's the second time we have been through this und it ist terribly hard for the family to take.
We know .. only too well

Und I think ist very brave of this lady to make this statement. She has condolences.. und sympathy.
But this "Handy" thing.. I cannot understand this craze. Ist a telephone ...that's all.
