AutoExpress reviews the new Thule range. I recently bought a Thule Easy Base as I find this does not obscure the rear view in my central mirror and I can transport the family bikes fairly easily as a result.

AutoExpress gives all products a good rating in their reviews and I thought I would pass on their recemmends given we are in the holiday/excursion season.

I don't like having things dangling off the car, if it doesn't fit inside, or in a roofbox at a push then it doesn't come with me.

You can hire bikes at most holiday resorts.

But then I did have a single divan, matress and two kids (properly seated and belted) in the back. And could still see out of the back window!

Tut, tut. Don't you know that the nice Policeman might give you a telling off for that (if you see one of course)? If he's in a REALLY bad mood he might give you a £30 fixed penalty notice with no licence points.

Gasp!

I bet they say they never drive above speed limit either. Funny but they seem to know where Steve's cams and van are.. .... and drive per road condition and above elsewhere

No different from rest of us then..  As in having "useful gadget" or looking up timetables

   It's "anecdotal" as seen with own eyes!
