The theory's been well reported, but are you sure that's not just MCN scaremongering as usual?

Only one thing that can be said - lethal

Anything that takes control away from a motorcycle which relies on use of the throttle even more heavily than a car is dangerous, and goes against everything I was taught.

Just a good reason for no-one to buy a new bike - what will the manufacturers think of those apples I wonder. Will be good for the second hand market though :D

This row has been brewing for a long time. Google 'Mulhouse Declaration'.

Here's the main link: http://www.network.mag-uk.org/EVSC/evsc_mulhouse.html

It wont happen not because of road safety, but the revenue loss...

200M in speeding fines gone - 1BN per year economy

According to yesterday's MCN, Ladyman has said that there will be no mandate to continue research into this, so it will not happen :)
