Carl P, I agree with you entirely, I saw the lemmings on the M25 and M11 on Wednesday afternoon.... London had a deluge at around 4-5 pm and the road conditions were abysmal. There were people in the outside lane passing at 90+ while tailgating, I can't understand that kind of mentality, I had enoug...

Over the last few months I have noticed an increase in the number of road and direction signs that are obscured by overgrown trees and bushes. Surely local councils have a duty to keep signs clear? Some direction signs are so poorly placed and misleading that they could easily contribute to an accid...

I think keeping an incident diary is a good idea, and to read through it from time to time will serve as a reminder that none of us are beyond making a mistake and that we are not immortal (unless you're name is Captain Scarlet). Maybe it would help to also list the evasive actions that we took and ...

I remember reading of this terrible incident at the time. My heart goes out to you. As a father of three myself I can only imagine the pain that you are going through. I sincerely hope that your web site will make a difference and that the criminal laws will be overhauled to prevent such tragic loss...

I hope that the program helps to bring the perpetrator to justice.

You have my deepest sympathy, so sorry to hear of your loss.

A couple of thoughts on this subject............ Maybe drivers should be subjected to psychometric testing to ensure that they have the correct mental attitute before they are allowed behind the wheel. Sorry if I sound pessimistic but we will not stop the hardcore of idiots by introducing any legisl...

Some years ago I had a near miss at a roundabout which was entirely my own fault. I started to enter a traffic island and suddenly became aware of a white metro which had been completely obscured by my windcreen pillar. Needless to say this scared the S*** out of me and from that day I always take t...

There's a lot of talk here about centalising computer information between DVLA, insurance companies etc. which makes perfect sense. How about this, when we buy a tax disk we get issued with a plastic card containing a chip which has all the linked details. In order to buy fuel we have to put the car...

Some time ago I drove a 3 series BMW which emitted a discreet audible chime through the car's speakers when the car reached 70. Is there a device that can be fitted after market that can be set to chime at 28, 38, 48, 58, 68? I appreciate that if one drove at say exactly 40 it would be annoying if t...

Sorry to hear of your NIP, Not sure if all constabulary areas use the same form but in Warwickshire this is what happens: There should be a section on the form that tells you to fill in the name and address of the driver at the time of the offence, fill it in and send it back to the address shown on...

Having recently been convicted of travelling at 36 mph in a 30 mph limit (few other cars around, wide road, dry, good visibility) I have made a conscious effort to now stick within the 30 mph speed limit, I glance at the speedo every few seconds, to make sure that I'm operating within the law. Stran...
