Hi!

I am a lady biker, with a Honda cbr600f, my little dirt bike the xt225, and currently looking for a track bike. Love all things on wheels!

Just getting around the forum, first found it due to a recent driving offense and in need of some info/advice .... and seem to have caught the bug!

Hi All,

i'm 24 and have been riding for 2 1/2 years now.

Although i can only afford an old Yamaha XJ600, i ride it all weather, doing a 100 mile a day commute, which equates to 24k a year just going to work and back!

Am looking for a new(er) bike, but alas, the government have taken so much of my money already that it will be a while before i am able to afford one.

Also love going to bike rally's all over the country, and on trips to europe. considering my bike is 18 year old now, it's doing pretty well!!

:welcome:

Can you fix stuff? Can you afford, er, I dunno. Something under four figures perhaps? Do you have a propensity towards mechanics?

If so - Dixie is selling a good un.

Where are you Dixie? Are you here somewhere? Someone send out an APB

Ang on, I'll see if I can find the thread...

(He might slap me for this but no harm trying)

Hey bud, no prob and no harm done. I never take my motorbike hat off; I love them! Always have, always will

If we can't interject something helpful in an Internet world used mainly, so I have read, for porn - well these are sad times indeed.

Take care

Tony

PS. I bet it hurt to see it go just the same :( Been there, done it Image

I passed the DAS 18 month ago, got a BMW r1150r 3 weeks later and I have riden over 25000 miles since.
I wonder how I have been able to live without riding a bike for the first 34 years of my life..
I ride every day to work and done a couple of short touring trips too, and I love it, even when it's freezing fog or pourong rain, I would not prefer to take the car.
This website is quite interesting and It is helping me at a time when I need to reflect on my riding.
