Cops building biker files?
September 20 2006

MCN has heard reports of police filming innocent riders and their bikes to gather “criminal intelligence” to help them identify riders snapped by front facing speed cameras. Has this happened to you? If so, email the details to steve.farrell@emap.com including a daytime phone number.

I sent him an e-mail because I had noticed this a while ago:

DSCP Minutes 01/08/2006
Top of page 4:
Quote:
Dorset Police IT Department have finalised the software for Front Facing cameras and this will be tested and installed shortly. The software will especially assist in the detection of motorcycle enforcement and it is hoped to be functioning in time for Poole Quay Bike night on Tuesday 8 August.

Why else are they doing that?

The best those stupid cu*ts can hope for is to identify the rider via helmet/clothing colouring & markings.

When you get the likes of full on MC members who all wear the same attire, then you are back to square one and you can't prove jack sh*t.

Or when there is someone like me who has about 3 different sets of leathers and some waterproofs which all look different
