Has anyone conducted a survey into whether aggressive SCPs deter tourism from areas?
The reason I ask is that a friend of mine was up in the Lake District looking at a holiday cottage that a large group of us were planning to rent for New Year celebrations when he was pinged for 35 in a 30 by a mobile Cumbria van - middle of nowhere, apparently

(he'll probably be on Pepipoo as I type getting advice on this). The result is that he has since taken the view "stuff the Lake District if that's how they treat their visitors". We are now going to Cornwall instead. Shame really as I would have liked to have seen the Lake District.
I'm sure he's not the only person to have taken this type of decision. I for one like to visit as much of Britain as possible, but I would never dream of going to Wales for example due to the reputation a certain Mr Brunstrom has given it. Again, a shame as I would like to see some of Wales. I guess I'll just have to wait until this camera fad passes.
