i live in central scotland and have a bit of a grumble about the cameravans and where they seem to operate up here i agree that they can be usefull for catching motorists who do more than a whisker over the limit but they could also be used for drivers using mobile phones etc, also i have only ever seen the vans operate on the flyovers over motorways which are probably the safest roads we have and never outside the many busy schools in my area where they perhaps could be better put to use.
sorry about the moaning!
Great to see you posting
So what are you saying - that you don't like cameras,
(quote tefal1 .... bit of a grumble ....) but, is it that you see them (perhaps) as a necessary 'evil'?
or, that you like them but grumble ?
(quote tefal1 ... I agree they can be useful ....) with whom are you agreeing with ?
Sorry but after re-reading your post, on the face of it you appear to approve of them, but also grumble ?
Is this perhaps you brain instinctively telling you that they do not appear to be working?
As people slow then speed up again, yet the 'fines' are mostly for a few mph over the set speed limit, which in reality are pretty arbatory anyway ? So 'things' seem 'wrong' ? So may I ask you first what you do, and do not, like about them ?
