Records from camera sites in Northern Ireland revealed that fatalities or serious injuries have halved since their introduction in the province.
Swindon must be very close by to Northern Ireland, right?

I mean, why cherry-pick
some sites in Northern Ireland (!) instead of the rather more sensible 'average of the UK'? I think we know the answer to that!

Data collected over the three years before the launch and compared with the three years afterwards showed the number of serious collisions at camera sites fell from 169 in 2002/3 to 76 last year. The fall in areas not covered by cameras was significantly less.
Another case of
RTTM, the placing of cameras where the KSI rate is expected to significantly fall anyway, even without any treatment

I've not even started with 'bias on selection'!
What do we have do to stop these people from
continuing to get away with it?
