Warp speed sounds excessive. Maybe "a safe speed at that time during the day" would sound right.
But what is "warp" speed.
I had some warped floorboards in a previous house, it was built in the 1830's and AFAIK they were original floorboards so I'm not sure of the exact speed of warping but I assume it was quite slow.
