Anton, have you asked Cumbria SCP? Since they are all ex-grey funnel line (navy) employees, so they really should know about documenting systems!

I am finding that my choice of questions was not perfect! I was expecting diferent replies! My question was a spinoff from a very unsucessfull request to the courts police and CPS about a concluded case. The court did a bizar thing and claimed exemption under the Scottish FOI act stating that the act forbid them from revealing the information. The act did not forbid the release of information, it just gave them an exemption..And of course they should have quoted the English version. I will let them fail too and refer it to the information commisioner :D

Mr Hewitt is not replying to my 2nd request for the maps so now he has failed the F.O.I act I can persue the process question.

I have requested info from Cumbria. They still have some time left to share thier wisdom. Any one who wants to join in it is open season at the moment. I have done A-M with the exception of Devon and Cornwall.

Interesting development! Northampton actually sent me a process...
strangely they must have made it up in the last three days...
yep they have forged thier own hand book and tried to palm it off as an existing process. Oh dear!

Do you mean they put false dates on documents created more recently? If so then ask them outright when the original document(s) were compiled and when the "procedures" as they now stand were formalled implemented. When you have that in black and white you can them put any evidence back to them, or (better) the IPCC.

They havn't exacly claimed that the document is old . I asked for a copy of the hand book or local instructiuons... under the foi act. rather than send me what they had or admit there was no document they have amended or invented one.

I have answered your questions below. For your third question I have attached an extract from our procedures manual. I trust that, together, these responses answer your questions.

that procedures manual contains a photo of a car speeding on 20.11.2006
