These days it appears you only dip your headlights when an oncoming vehicle has already come into view.
The ability to judge another vehicle's light beam approaching seems to be dying out.
I can honestly say I cannot remember the last time I 'blinded' someone.
Also it appears to be becoming more and more acceptable to be joined on a Roundabout by impatient motorists as I APPROACH their junction to the point I have even had my exit blocked by a vehicle travelling alongside me (not me at fault as I was text book).
If this only happened every now and again I would put it down to bad luck but it seems more and more common.
It's not a malicious act as I have approached a couple of drivers who have been guilty of doing this to me and they have genuinely no memory of doing anything wrong and I'm not easily blagged.
Don't even start me on those that speed up as I'm overtaking.
:x
Moan! Moan! Moan!
I'm stuck in the house today awaiting the arrival of a fridge as I was told it would be ANY time between 9.00am & 5.00pm
What f*****g good is that to anyone?
I'm fed up already.

The bottom line is that driving standards are declining. Everyone seems to agree. I'm personally quite certain that bad policy is directly responsible.

I found it extremely noticeable driving in London traffic recently for days on end for the first time in 16 years. I've posted about it too: http://www.safespeed.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9988

I hope your fridge arrives soon and sets you free. :)

There are a lot of people who merge on to a roundabout rather than give way. on a sort of "no stop on left turn"

This approach has been endorsed by Attorney General ever since 1951. CPS Code
