My other half works for one of the big supermarkets, and last night some very drunken Mancs came in the store and then where shown the door by security. They then proceeded to handbrake turn around the car park in there mini bus, ending up side swiping a customers car.

The police where called but said they where too busy to attend, but would send someone when they had time

An hour or so later up pulled a nice shiny T5, ah come to look at the CCTV of the trouble we had, "no, I am here to get some sandwiches for the shift" He was asked if he could look at the CCTV of the incident having had it explained to him what had happened, "too much paperwork and I'm going off shift soon"

Needless to say 24hrs later they are still waiting

EFC, would anyone from the company be prepared to talk to me about this? It would be interesting to have the police (am assuming Essex Police) respond to this bearing in mind the article in the Essex Chronicle and thier comments in said article Please my post - Essex Chronicle Article

Thanks EFC, would be of use to highlight, how policing policies have changed and the damage that it's doing to the public police relationship and the adverse effect on road safety.

After all, if they were playing silly buggers in the car park what are they likely to be doing on the road??
