... which, if you look at the terminology used by its proponents has become far more of a religion than a science... "Deniers" are attacked ad-hominem as if they'd committed heresy rather than any attempt being made to debate the science rationally.

Yes. A qote from Milliband the environment minister. "fortunately there is no debate now about the fact of man-made global warming" - my heart sank.
