Those of you who wish to stock up on bulbs at a better price than Halfrauds, should look up your nearest LIDL store on the 25th of this month. :!:

£3.99 a PAIR. Quality is fine, and there are numerous other car bargains to be had such as screen wash antifreeze etc.

It's first come first served, and once they've gone, the've gone... until the next time around!
LIDL have other great offers which are more lasting too! Es[ecially if you like the odd glass of port or salted cashew nuts!

When I glanced at the photo I thought that they were selling blue flashing lights. :)

As i keep on saying - i always go to a back street garage - get them out of a box of 50/100 ---usually at half Halfrauds price ---stop tail =50p, halogen mains usually £2 or thereabouts, not just when in stock but all the time.

It's alright for you, but in this neck of the woods, such establishments are thin on the ground!
I cant help but wonder how Paul gets on when shopping - is there even a corner shop close by?

Twawny or Ruby? :drink: Sounds like you appreciate a bargain. In France, Port is quite a bit cheaper than here, even compared to other heavily taxed drinks. :)

I had my vehicle MOT'd in August, before going to visit my parents in France. When I got back it was due a service, and I was told it needed new discs and pads all round, and a suspension bush, along with a passenger side wiper blade. [The wiper blade was fine when I took it in, but drivers side was sh*t when I collected the car!]
Total just short of £735. I declined the work because I could not afford it at that time so close to holiday and MOT!
Having access to a cheap ferry fare in the Autumn, and a local enquiry service (mum!) I found out it would be cheaper to have it done in France.
I got the credit card bill last week, converted into GB pounds, and Front pads, (discs were deemed good for another 12 months at least) discs AND pads on the rear, two new wiper blades (£19 EACH in Kendal) cost me £201 including 19% VAT.
Ferry fare was £65 for a car and two passengers, and I spent around £150 on diesel (+ a little more touring around shopping!).
The wipers worked out at €36 a pair to fit yourself (£24.50)!!

Do you want the details of some ALFA dealerships in France??
