They've tried to fine my friend who emigrated to Australia in February last year for not taxing his bike-sending it to his previous address (here)

They issued a certificate of permanent export for the bike in question last year and it went to Australia with him... It doesn't even show up as a valid registration number on the DVLA database.

What hope have we got when cretins like this are in charge?
