Back home .. I can take my bike on a tram.. on a bus und on a train.
I have never ever been able to understand this silliness und I will even concur with the most opiniated on any cycling forum that this action by those operating trains ist anti-cycling und does nothing to promote any kind of ethically green lifestyle
I have one word of advice.. look how they do things abroad und learn
To our lurking cycling stalwarts.. please accept that we want safety for all road users.
We question the policy of speed cameras as "sole saviour of mankind on our highways" That ist all.
We are not at all anti-cycling.. anti-horse rider .. anti-pedestrian.. anti -disabled road user.
We ride bikes.. horses und all of us walk. Walking ist what we humans do best after all.
We agree though .. that faciilties should und could be better for all of us .. so how we travel ..und we also concur that train operators should encourage more cycling as matter of course.
The stupid trolls are just stupid. But all posting to this site , PH .. und motoring sites respect all other road users in any case. The Swiss who post to the two main cycling sites are careful to be respectful at all times und not one person on this forum or within my family intends to offend any other road user or any one who has alternative opinion. We try to persuade to our way of thinking .. but we do not intend offence und perhaps strong opinions should simply agree to disagree without offence or insutl taken .. und banter should be seen as pure banter
