I have RoadAngelPlus™ in my car. I don't use it as a carte blanche to speed wherever I like, but as a second pair of eyes to remind me of the presence of cameras, especially in areas where speed limits have been reduced and might now be lower than one would expect for any particular road. This is how the makers intended the device to be used. As we all know, it's very easy to run foul of the law these days.
We all know the camera locations in our local area, but I'm finding that these scamera vans are popping up everywhere. I've twice seen a van at different locations on the A4 - a large van in army green livery, with ANPR and the

sign on it. What are these vans? There was no warning sign on the road leading up to the van position...
Anyway, to get to the point - there's a new version (3.25.0) of the RoadAngelPlus software for the PC. The update includes a firmware update to the unit itself because as well as camera locations, the database now includes van locations.
Some of you may use Road Angel, or even SatNav. I expect the software is similar for the hazard alerts. So make sure you update your system to get the most out of it!
I'm just about to make a trip to Leicester with my upgraded system, and will report back with my findings.
Sorry if this is old news, but it's probably worth repeating anyway, for the benefit of those with Road Angel or SatNav.
