I have just got to work and discovered a flat tyre.

My journey to work is 25 miles.

It felt okay on the 70 mph stretch; I noticed it about 5 miles from work when the car over steered roundabout . There is no visible damage to the wheel.

Am just concered i may have damged the wheel driving on the flat.

Depends on how flat the tyre was (which is definately knackered as the sidewall will be gone).

They'll tell you when they fit the new tyre. Same happened to me, and the rim was perfectly OK.

Just as a matter of interest, why didn't you check what was wrong when you were 5 miles from work? You noticed something wrong with your car but drove on anyway? What if you had suffered a catastrophic failure and crashed?

If it had been a catastrophic failure, I probbally would have crashed on the roundabout, or and it may have been a bit more serious than a slip?

I was driving through birmingham when I noticed
Both the rear tyres need replacing (~ 2-3mm of tread left), which I was going to do within the week (before you start about that). The roads where a bit wet and greasy this morning. So I thought it might be that, driving straight the car did not feel different the rear of the car did not feel lower, nor did it happen again on the following roundabout. So I checked it when I got to work.
Also there not anywhere particularly convent to stop, as I would have been in the way of traffic. As I have low profile tyres I tend not try to mount curbs.



But no doubt I will know next time
