I can't wait for the first reports of people whose cars have been stranded in floods getting parking fines for leaving them on yellow lines and for too long in car parks.

Decriminalised parking makes this just a matter of time. :roll:

10 hours stationary on the M5 southbound just north of J8 (Friday night)

It was my turn for <s>moneygrabbing</s> er .. overtime Friday night... Night trunk to Taunton & back.

Is that right that all road signs will in future have the speed marked up in MPH & KNOTS? 70 mph = 60.828337 knots

In addition to a HiVis vest, vehicles will have to carry a life raft!

Ah well at least Robin will be prepared for all that malarkey! :lol:

I just heard that TEWKSBURY has asked to be twinned with VENICE, and is number 2 in the queue after Sheffield! :lol:

I suppose second choice might be ATLANTIS!

Didcot Parkway station car park was closed last Friday because of the flooding. I think the car park as okay, but those owners who had to collect cars once the car park was reopened were all left with a parking ticket.
When did we start employing cretins?
