Would you apply this logic to the McLaren "spying" business? The FIA seem to be saying that the team is STRICTLY responsible for the actions of all their employees which, to me, seems wrong.
As I understand it, it is not the FIA who support the idea that MacLaren are at fault.... Ferrari seem to be the ones saying that MacLaren are responsible because one of their (MacLaren's) employees had a secret Ferrari document at HIS home.
If their supposition is correct, then the entire Ferrari team are responsible for sending him the document.
Ferrari seem to want to win the championship in the courts instead of on the track and I hope the FIA see through this ruse!!
MacLaren's defence seems to be (from the few reports I have read) that they did not benefit from the document, or make changes to their car as a result... I suppose it might have been suspicious had they suddenly painted their car red and adopted a prancing horse as a logo!!
