I have been told, and seen on documentaries (but never experienced) the 'cafe' keepers of Amsterdam are pretty good at classifying the strength of the various herbal and resin varieties.

They will also tell you that the prostitutes are all free from disease. They may well be right, on both subjects, but I will leave others to do the testing.

Surely the stronger the cannabis the less will be used to achieve the same effect just like alcohol, so I would suggest the strength is not an issue.

Strength probably wouldn't be an issue as long as it is known. The tobacco industry is not in a position to accurately analyse the concentrations of the known psychoactive cannabinoids. No one is in a postion to analyse the unknown ones.
Even if you have all the analyses at hand, so little is known about the way in the various cannabinoids work, or don't work, that it wouldn't help much.

The Cannabis genie was never in the bottle in the first place! Official denial of this and the mistaken belief that it ever was (and is) is responsible for most, if not all, of the socioeconomic harm that "illegal" cannabis use causes

The cannabis genie is in the official bottle which is why they can impose criminal penalties on those who possess it and why a percentage of people won't risk using it.

Official policy probably doesn’t reflect what’s going on in the real world.

It might be of some use to me to try it, in order to better understand the effects it has on those I look after in my professional life. I won't risk it because if caught I could look forward to being struck off, and thus having no way of earning a living.

Fair enough. What about when you’ve retired?

What use is police testing then, I find it hard to believe it can't be analysed otherwise how would we know 'skunk is stronger'.

It is far easier to QA a legal product than an illegal one

Those that do "smoke" should beware of going to Dubai where possession of cannabis includes it being in your bloodstream and results in 4 years inside.

I've heard that it takes 28 days to dissipate.
