Indeed. I have visions of "Carry On - Speed Matters!" :rotfl:

But seriously Paul - Bit of gentle pedalling will help. Gentle walks in the country side and a balanced diet. Try some of my recipes  (I did Boeuf Bourguignonne yesterday - or rather a joint effort with my wife )

16 0z lean beef.. 2 rahsers lean smoked bacon.. 12 or so shallots - peeled, pack of sliced mushrooms or sliced close cup mushrooms
clove garlic (crushed)

10 fl oz claret (of course )

5 fl oz beef stock

2 bay leaves

2 tablesponns chopped fresh thyme.

2 oz cornflour

3 fl oz cold water and ground black pepper to taste

(serve with veggies and brown rice.)

Remove any fat from the meat and chop into small pieces (You can get ready diced from the supermarket. Wildy and Krissi will tell me to wash my mouth out though )

Put meat into a small saucepan with the shallots and the garlic, mushrooms/wine/stock/bay leaves and one tablespoon of the thyme. Bring to boil, reduce the ehat, cover and let simmer for 50 minutes or till meat/shallots are tender.

Blend the cornflour and water in small bowl or cup and stir into the casserole. Return to boil - stirring as constant. Cook till the sauce thickens Reduce the ehat and let it simmer for 5 minutes Season to taste with the pepper.

Remove the bay leaves. Pour into warmed serving dish. Sprinkle with the rest of the thyme and serve with boiled rice and seasonal veggies.

(Brown rice best as this increases fibre and also helps your body rid itself of toxins once it's digested all this )

Tasty, ideal for a red blooded "hoon" who wants to keep his ticker ticking along or COASTing along nicely

Yes that sounds nice. Give me about an hour notice and I'll nip round.

Er, that's nip, not NIP.

Best wishes all,
Dave.

Best Wishes Paul!

Hope you get better soon. I know a few people in the same boat and they all seem to be fine now if it helps any!

I'm home, folks.

And the strongest feeling is that it's good to be alive.

Many thanks for all the kind words, well wishes and everything.

I need a few weeks of 'taking it easy'. Apparently. :hehe:

Don't forget that speed cameras can seriously damage your health :D

It's good to hear that you are recovering well.

Did you get caught for speeding to recovery? :hehe: I think you broke the sound barrier, I'm glad to say. :)

Delegation is the answer IMHO. Don't take so much on you goof!!!

(Well, someone's gotta tell him)

Great to have you back Paul
