Quote:
A motorist who says it cost him £300 to attend a speed awareness course, only to have his speeding ticket then cancelled, wants his money back.
Dave Charlton, from Northumberland, was one of 3,000 drivers to have their tickets scrapped near Bangor, Gwynedd.

He said he was now out of pocket for an offence he had not committed.

it's cost me probably around £300 with loss of wages, travelling costs, course fee, admin fee

IIRC the actual courses themselves cost about £90.

He says he was doing 30 or 31, the Scamravan :liar: said he was doing 35. Yet it turned out the :880: limit was invalid due to the previous :40: limit still being in force as the council :jester: had to say :oops1: as they had 'forgotten' to put the paperwork through for the change!

last week I complained to the BBC about not guilty drivers "breaking the speed limit"
Quote:
“They were caught on camera breaking the speed limit”
Not true there was no speed limit there fore they could not break it..
Then you had Mel Kendal from Hants county council claiming that “these arguments don’t hold water”. This is also untrue and is a case of court record and 16 innocent motorists.

You cannot call some one a murder if the court found them not guilty. Why treat motorists any different

todays headline on this story is "Innocent driver's cashback demand"
Did I win a small victory?
