Unelected?

Did you vote for you MEP?

I did , but not for the Brussels mob, which get in without a vote .

Fine. You never even attempt to answer my points, so that's the last time I bother trying to discuss anything with you. (And, as predicted, you can't explain the BBC poll. As with everything else that doesn't fit in with your contentions, you just ignore it, and no doubt try to forget all about it.)

:banghead:

One day even you'll be forced to admit just how wrong you were.

I can't, its an assertion from me, the opposite side of the assertion bombus made.

Oh. I see. The majority of people I have spoken to are in two camps. Totally against speed cameras or in favour of them but they believe many of them are placed in locations to just make money, so really must be counted in the anti-camp.

I expect Bombus is coming from the same position.

You, however, admit that you made a baseless statement.

That's not clever and nor does it advance the debate. Other forum users must now be thinking: "I wonder how much else of what Weepej said was just an assertion from Weepej, based on no facts of any kind, but on baseless speculation?"

You are not doing yourself any favours, are you?

Er, and so did bombus, but he won't admit it.

Either engage in meaningful debate with me or, to put it far less bluntly than I might have, can it.

Who do you work for again, by the way?

Quite true Bombus and I agree with you about the unelected EU officials. But Bombus, you didn't lose your vote in the EU, you lost it because here in the UK. The "Party" decides on policy, NOT you!

The Party whip comes along and "dictates" to YOUR MP's and MEP's which way they must vote ......... or else! (next time they will be deselected).

YOUR vote is LOST here in the UK!

NOT in the EU!
