Dumber, dumber & dumber having a meeting

M6 Toll never worked, Operators refuse to use it, due to the increase in costs.

What a mad idea for charging on the annual mileage :!:

What if we have trucks that run in the Europe, which already pay the toll roads, we then get charged twice, becuase we are registered and have our vehicles tested in the UK.

Telematic trackers, will not work either, as it will only be a condition of UK law that UK vehicles have them fitted. Foriegn trucks, will have no law enforcing fitment, thus they will not pay the toll.

If they want to introduce toll roads, they have to do it along the lines of France, toll booths along the roads.

But, that means congestion as Dartford

No, the government like to paint the picture it is being done to ease congestion.

We all know this is just another Tax.

Our government would like to see more trucks running at night, in the belief that hauliers we see routes completed in a faster time, thus saving hauliers money.

This is flawed, due to the increase in pay we have to pay drivers for working unsociable hours.
