Oh, yes! Thanks for reminding me about that. I had forgotten about the "helpful" Derbyshire Police Farce.

Still a weird constabulary all these years late, so a relative was telling me not long ago...

As an aside, my wife and I saw the White Helmets at the Shrewsbury Flower Show last Summer.

British Millennium Triumph 750cc motorcycles! Absolutely stunning! :D

The knife cuts both ways lads. We've spent decades paying over the odds for under-performing machines from BAE and Westlands, with the latter now being owned by an Italian consortium! I'm all for buying British (every car I've owned has been!) but that doesn't absolve them from having to make the product we want/need at a price that is right!

The motorbike industry didn't, excpet for the bit of it that survived in India.

AS someone on the TV said about them: "They are great. Nothing on them a roadside motorbike mechanic can't fix!"
