:welcome:    :drink:

Nice bikes mate, my mate has the 1100 raid-bike with air-suspension - utterly sublime.
I've just come back to bikes after nearly quarter of a century and am finding my feet on a little Yam DragStar, but my heart is set on one of these:-

Or one of these:-

Lovely looking bike, but a bit mahoosive for a short-arse like me! I've sat on a Rocket III and it felt far more balanced than a Harley, but still like pulling a small car upright. The Yams and Kwackers seem to have got the C of G about right for us vertically-challenged types!

A pic for sixy:-

And one for me:-

I just love the cruiser riding position that Yamaha seem to have got so right. Sixy's V-Max looks the dog's, but I just imagine the amount of Ibuleve/Preparation H I would have to apply after riding it!

Any of you ladies & gents able to make it along to our charity ride out for spinal research in June...? We're now up to 65 or so bikes coming, everything from GSX's to Bonnevilles to Piaggio X9 Scooters...!

MMmmmmmmm :D

I know what you mean about being vertially challenged, but I did have a rather nice surpise when I hopped on a Bandit 12 yesterday... I think I might be a convert!

Thank god!

The one I had was the most gutless piece of crap I've ever ridden. I bought it new and got rid of it 6 months later, rusted to pieces in Winter.

My pre-VTEC VFR is quite the opposite :)

You found the 12 gutless???

My other half normally rides a CBR1000 and he thought the bandit was a monster!

Yep - hated it. Had flat spots everywhere. I know you can get them sorted with a new exhaust, etc - but by the time you've spent everything you need to get it sorted you're into money that will get you a mint condition Honda CB1300.

Fair point. Maybe this one's already had the work - it's a 2001 model...

Don't worry, I'm sticking firmly with the semi-tuned xs650 for now! :D
