 Post subject: no right turn

i was just told by my mate i went down a no right turn area.

i believe there is a camera near the area where i did this.

if i get convicted am i looking at 3 points or just a fine ?

Can't help with that one I'm afraid. There are maps showing speed cameras, but I don't think there are any for CCTV cameras.

While I would say simply don't disobey any banned turns, there was a time in London where I was cycling and had gone across to the right side of the dual carriageway to turn right, into the congestion charge off the busy Euston road, only to find it a banned turn. I was in quite a bit of trouble and certainly upset drivers who were more happy to bib me expecting me to disappear rather than help me get back to the correct side. So in some circumstances it might be safer to ignore the banned turns and I won't condemn you without knowing the full circumstances.
