:gatso2: Another pearl of wisdom from the Wail.

If these council bosses want to remove speed cameras then that's excellent. But I'm not sure if they've thought this through properly. Now I'm confused. :?

Oh please, can we get rid of those horrible horrible blue signs everywhere?

Apparently the place in Southampton still has pavements and presumably kerb stones. Hmm. I thought they were meant to be removed too?

As for drunkards walking into the road, they are perfectly capable of doing that even with signs. Like they can be bothered with using a crossing. :roll:where

I think that it has limited uses here, I've seen it in Holland where it works very well but there again their towns are NOT like ours. Our "Drunks" are also not like theirs....were the motorist is as likely to be the Victim of an assault by drunken pedestrians as the reverse....

I'm afraid that this is another example of the "one size fits all" approach to a united Europe, which does NOT work.....In our case: The British are "too unruly" to control. Here, in Blighty, it's the drunken pedestrians who need the "Big Stick" in order to protect the poor motorist from their excessses. Not the other way round..

Oh .. I think the childish stupidity of Ross/Brand say much.

Not off topic. They said that abuse. BBC "moderators" though it "funny" in "laddish lavatory sense".

But this same irresponsibility permeates into road safety .. the arrogance would seem to consume all .. even some young or incredibly naive police officers on odd occasions too.

I guess we are back to something old fashioned.. called MANNERS and RESPONSIBITY!

But I forget.. we are all supposed to be dumbed down to stupid lewd crassness of the chavved up dumbed down.

But in the real world? We expect all to be of some standard norm. UK has really lost the plot on this. EU does.. and why they overtake us on road safety stats these days

Have photos of stupidity.
