Well saw a scamera van today on the A34. Was it by a dangerous junction or crossing point? Nope. It was in the middle of the roundabout at the bottom of a shallow hill with good visibility. Now this bit of dual carriageway until a few years ago was NSL til some bright spark smacked a 40 on it. Soo, scamera van is sitting there catching people where it is perfectly safe to exceed 40, and until a few years ago it was perfectly legal.
I'm totally appalled at Staffs Scammers for their placement as there is no danger whatsover where they were. If they had any sense they would have been further up the road before the traffic lights where there is a dangerous pull out onto the main carriageway! But no, further up no-one speeds because it is dangerous!
No wonder driving standards are falling. People are driving slowly on long straight roads as scamera vans and scameras are supposed to be in black spots. Obviously it is perfectly safe to speed on twisty turny roads as there are no scameras on those
Aaaaaaarggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh.
