Situation is this. Was i a tescos car park driving at about 8 mph, pulling into a parking bay forwards with 2 cars either side, I may have slightly misjudged it as I heard a bump, it wasnt significant and the car didnt stop or anything. I parked in the space normally, got out and looked at both cars and there were no marks on either car where it would have knocked it, so I assumed I may have rolled over something, but I could not see anything under the car.
People were in the car next to me on the right ( not the suspect one) and they didnt say anything, although one looked at me for a few seconds, although thats probably me being paranoid.
I got out and no-one said anything and there were no marks so I assumed I hadnt hit it.
I have heard though that they can slap you with a ' driving without due care and attention' and ' failing to notify a road traffic accident' even for minor bumps. What happens though if you dont know if you have clipped the car in question because there are no marks? If you arent aware or unsure (to the point of unlikely) if you have knocked it what can you do?
Thanks.
