There isn't any possibility if you've been on one within the last 3 years, or you were more than about 10mph above the limit.
So if not, and because of the totting to 12 points, chances are you'll get a summons to appear in court. If so, you should prepare a case for mitigation to plead hardship resulting from disqualification (can't drive, support family/dependents, etc) and say why you thought it was NSL.
This sounds to me like this one is a recurring problem where honest mistakes are made. You would have thought that with speed being such a killer the powers that be claim it is

they would have made that limit far clearer; it seems they aren't doing anything about it and are instead raking it in
