Hi,

Other half was driving the car when she got caught speeding. NO dispute or anything just having a problem with the form.

Ok its the Notice of intended Prosecution, I need to fill in page 2 and tick box 2 however it says to delete as appropriate, any idea which of these is true:

Did I hire, buy, sell, return, lease, lend or assign teh car to her? Like most people (I imagine) I didnt really do any of these things, she is a named driver on teh insurance and just used the car to get to work. I dont want to fill the form in incorrectly and cause more hasstle, please help!

Also if you knwo the answer to the first question - what date and time should I put in as the date and time I lent, assigned etc the car?

Thanks for your time and advise!

If you own the car and she was driving with your permission then, obviously, the car was lent to her by you. When I want to use my wife's car I ask her "Can I borrow your car?" and vice versa.

If such an exchange took place between you and your wife that is the time to put. If you allow her to borrow the car without asking then I think that the time she first unlocked it after you had locked it would be the time.

Hi,

Thanks for teh response. I think I was really over panicing about some minor detail but I think I will select the option you suggested. The time and date bit also seems to be the best option too.

Cheers
