A Safety Camera Programme Office is being established, as part of the Road Safety Division of the Department for Transport, to co-ordinate and support local camera safety partnerships. Join us, and not only will you have the opportunity to shape our new team, you will also help us in achieving our road safety objective to reduce the number of road deaths and serious injuries.

Two Year Fixed Term Contract (extension possible)
In this high profile role, you will lead the provision of an effective support service to the UK Safety Camera Programme Board. Alongside maintaining the safety camera handbook for England and Wales and developing strong relationships with partnerships and stakeholders, you will promote best practice within the partnerships and manage the programme's finances.
A natural leader, you will have a reputation for delivering results combined with at least five years' experience of managing complex projects. A credible communicator, whether influencing multiple stakeholders, working collaboratively, or leading a diverse team, you will have a flair for operational, strategic and budget management.
Analytical and creative in your approach, you will also have proven problem-solving skills.
